Known issue: Previews of website assignment submissions inconsistently created in Speedgrader

When viewing a website URL assignment submission, the preview of the website as it appeared at the time of submission is not consistently displayed in Speedgrader.

Issue

When an assignment is set to Website URL, Speedgrader displays a screen capture preview of the submitted website. However, the preview is currently not consistently showing an image of the website as it appeared at the time of submission.

Status

The vendor is currently investigating the issue.

Workaround

Open the link in a new tab or click the link directly to generate a preview.

For courses with an assignment type set to Online Upload and Website URL (eg submitting assets or portfolios created from PebblePad to Canvas via a share-link):

1. Students can navigate to the assignment, and submit a URL for a public website/document.
2. Staff should navigate to Speedgrader for this assignment.
