Feature release: View previous Canvas global announcements

LMS users can now view all active and previous announcements in the new Global Announcements area.

Staff and students can now view all active announcements, as well as a list of all global announcements posted in the last four months, even after dismissing them from the Dashboard.

Canvas displays a tip to users when an announcement is dismissed, but you can also access this page from the global navigation menu by clicking Account then Global Announcements.
