The LMS is the University of Melbourne's centrally supported Learning Management System. Subject coordinators can use the LMS to publish lecture notes and other learning resources, and to manage interactive course ware, assignments, quizzes and other tools to assist student learning. Students use the LMS to download course materials, upload assignments, contribute to online discussions and to work within study groups. If set up by their subject coordinator, students can store and organise materials for their own learning, and also manage drafts of essays, assignments and projects. The LMS supports asynchronous, self-directed learning.
Learning Environments staff provide many support resources for staff using the LMS.
