When students have a translate browser extension or add-on enabled, the answer(s) typed in English are translated into the selected language. The answer is then submitted in this language

Resolved issue: FreeText annotations in submissions do not zoom as intended when viewed in the Canvas Student app for Android
When viewing a submission using the Canvas Student app for Android, FreeText annotations are not enlarged with the document when users attempt to pinch-to-zoom.

Resolved issue: Duplicate filenames remove existing content in Announcements and Files directory
When attaching files in Canvas Announcements and Canvas Files directory, if the uploaded file has the same name as an existing one, the original file will be deleted.

Resolved issue: Removing Assign To dates fails and any changes will revert when selecting Save
When attempting to manually remove dates in Assign To, changes are not saved unless the Clear button is used.

Resolved issue: Disallow threaded Discussions
After the recent Discussions update, where the control for disallowing threaded discussions was omitted, this setting has now been restored. However, this has left some Discussions with undesired settings.

Resolved issue: Delay loading Assign To panel in LMS assignment, quiz and discussion
Subjects with large cohorts (200+ students) can experience delays of over a minute in loading pages containing the Assign To panel when editing Assignments, Quizzes or Discussions, or when selecting the Assign To item from the action panels and menus.

Resolved issue: Module completion - Graded Discussion Requirements
It is currently not possible to select Submit the Assignment or Score at Least for graded discussions as requirements when specifying Module completion. The only options available are View the item and Contribute to the page.

Resolved issue: Timed posts in LMS announcements are dispatched immediately after editing
If a user edits an existing timed released announcement (Available from), the announcement will be dispatched as a notification email immediately after saving.

When viewing a website URL assignment submission, the preview of the website as it appeared at the time of submission is not consistently displayed in Speedgrader.

Resolved issue: Record of recipient removed if user deletes message from Canvas Inbox
When a group message has been sent to multiple users, if one of the recipients deletes the message from their Canvas Inbox, their name disappears from the list of recipients for that message.

We are currently experiencing an issue with the process that automatically links the LMS to its respective Lecture Capture section automatically. Some subjects in the LMS need to be manually linked to the correct Lecture Capture section to allow students to access content hosted in EchoVideo.

When submitting an audio or media comment to an assignment in Speedgrader, you need to make sure the comment has finished converting before moving on.

Resolved issue: HTML files download instead of previewing in Canvas LMS
HTML files uploaded directly to Canvas Files are downloaded instead of being able to preview. This impacts users who upload HTML-based course content or resources for others to access and review.
