Resolved issue: Delay loading Assign To panel in LMS assignment, quiz and discussion

Subjects with large cohorts (200+ students) can experience delays of over a minute in loading pages containing the Assign To panel when editing Assignments, Quizzes or Discussions, or when selecting the Assign To item from the action panels and menus.

Issue

Where the Assign To panel is present, either after navigating to an assignment, quiz, or discussion's editing page, or by selecting the Assign To item from the action panels or menus, a paginated user request is made for all students in the subject before the Assign To panel can be interacted thereby causing a long wait time in subjects with large cohorts.

Status

This issue was resolved by the vendor on 30 October 2024. If you are still experiencing this issue, please let us know by submitting a support request.
