Resolved issue: HTML files download instead of previewing in Canvas LMS

Issue

HTML files uploaded to Canvas Files are being downloaded when clicked instead of opening in a browser preview within Canvas.

As a result, users are unable to view HTML content directly in Canvas or embed HTML files into Pages as expected. Existing HTML resources that previously displayed in-browser now prompt a file download instead.

We are aware of the issue and are investigating with the vendor.
