Feature release: Dyslexia friendly font in Canvas

Canvas now has a setting that allows users to view the LMS in a font designed to improve the reading experience for people with dyslexia.

In Canvas Account Settings, there is a new feature option, Use a Dyslexia Friendly Font, that is available for both teaching staff and students. When this is switched on, Canvas content is displayed using the OpenDyslexic font.

Any teaching materials created while using this feature will display in the default font for others.
