Learning Environments provide an extensive set of workshops and resources in support of the LMS and other learning technologies. These are available to both teaching and professional staff and are designed to be practical and linked to your teaching needs.

Poll Everywhere

Description
This 90-minute workshop focuses on the Poll Everywhere online tool which allows users to create and collect responses to poll questions or activities. In this workshop, staff will create polls and learn how to collect responses in a live session.
Topics include: Responding to polls, creating polls, editing polls, activating polls to collect responses, inserting polls in PowerPoint and adding links to polls in the LMS

Qualtrics for teaching and learning

Description
Using surveys in teaching and learning can increase student engagement and allow teaching staff to gather feedback from students regularly throughout a teaching period.
This 90 minute workshop focuses on the use of Qualtrics surveys in teaching and learning contexts. Participants will explore different purposes and opportunities for presenting surveys to their students, experience a range of surveys as both a respondent and survey owner, and create and publish surveys.
Topics include creating and managing projects, creating and managing questions, survey flow, survey distribution options, collaboration, and reviewing response data.
