Blackboard apps are free for all University of Melbourne staff and students, and can be used via mobile data or wireless networks. As with other apps, you are responsible for any data transfer charges incurred, so the recommendation is to use WiFi wherever possible.
Blackboard's new app is specifically designed for students, offering an on-the-go option to view and interact with subjects and content. To view all expected subject details, it is recommended that you also access the LMS from a browser.
Help for this app is available on the Blackboard website: Blackboard App for Students Help.

Mobile Learn (depreciated)
Effective August 1, 2017, Mobile Learn has been removed from all app stores. Blackboard has developed two new applications designed to meet the separate needs of students and staff – Blackboard app (for students) and Blackboard Instructor (for staff). The two new mobile apps contain some of the same features as Mobile Learn, with different functionality for the user roles. See a comparison of Bb Student and Mobile Learn.
Current Mobile Learn users will continue to have access to Mobile Learn after is has been removed from app stores and after support ends on August 31st, 2017. However, continued usability of the application cannot be guaranteed.
