Tracking attendance in Zoom

From the Zoom service University staff can generate reports that show detailed information about the meetings and webinars they have created and hosted, including lists of attendees.

NOTE: If you were the co-host or a panellist in a session, you are considered by Zoom to be a participant, not the convenor of the meeting, and don’t have access to the reports.

If your Zoom meeting was scheduled via Zoom in Canvas, these reports will only be available if your SSO email address is the same as your Canvas email address. The University is currently working on resolving this issue. In the meantime, to track attendance in these situations, please ask students to identify themselves in Chat and download the Chat at the end of the session.

  1. Visit https://unimelb.zoom.us
  2. Click Zoom account sign on (SSO) below the 4 tiles.
  3. Log in with your University credentials.
  4. Click Reports.
