Browser cache

If pages in the LMS are not displaying correctly, this may be due to an issue with your browser cache. In most cases, emptying your cache and quitting/restarting your browser session will fix the problem. Using the recommended settings may avoid further problems.


  1. Select the History option from the tools menu.
  2. Click the Clear Browsing data... button.
  3. Select Empty the cache checkbox.
  4. Under Obliterate the following items from: select the beginning of time.
  5. Check the Cached images and files checkbox.
  6. Click the Clear browsing data button.


  1. Select History from the tools menu.
  2. Select Clear Recent History...
  3. Under Time Range to Clear select Everything.
  4. Select the Details arrow.
  5. Select the Cache checkbox.
  6. Click the Clear Now button.


  1. Select the History menu.
  2. Select Clear History...
  3. Click Clear.

Internet Explorer

  1. Select Internet options from the menu.
  2. On the General tab under Browsing History click the Delete... button.
  3. Uncheck the Preserve Favourites website data checkbox.
  4. Check the Temporary Internet files and website files checkbox.
  5. Click the Delete button.
  6. Once the files have been deleted, close the confirmation screen.
